During the budget session, journalists faced a lot of problems in getting budget documents as the Press Information Department (PID) did not make adequate measures to distribute the material among the reporters, covering the Finance Minister’s speech.
When the journalists demanded the budget documents form the officials of PID, they refused to provide saying that the speech of the finance minister had been changed after the decisions made by the cabinet. Thus the copies of speech would not be distributed to media.
