Mainland Husnain outplayed Gold Star Club by 63 runs in the Farhan Memorial Tournament here on Thursday. Batting first, Mainland Husnain piled up 308 for nine in 40 overs. Safdar Babar (102), Afzal Shah (75), Mohsin Anwar (52) and Rizwan (43) were the prominent batsmen for Mainland Husnain. Nasir and Yasir took three wickets for Gold Star Club while Amjad grabbed two wickets. In reply, Gold Star Club could score only 245 for all out. Jamshed (75), Yaqoob (52), Nasir (48) and Akbar (38) were the impressive batsmen for Gold Star Club. Mainland’s Safdar Babar and Saeed took three wickets each, while Arshad grabbed two wickets.
