Haqqani asks NATO to reign in infiltrating Afghan militants

Pakistan Ambassador to US Hussain Haqqani expressing his concerns over the attack Taliban attack in Dir has asked the NATO and US to control infiltration of militants from the Afghanistan side.
Meeting with the officials of the United States State Department, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Hussain Haqqani expressed his reservation regarding the attack of Afghanistan’s Taliban on the Pakistani security forces in Dir in which 70 people were killed including 25 security officials and 45 militants.
Haqqani said that the NATO and Afghan forces should stop the Afghan Taliban on attacking Pakistan. He also said that the forces should conduct operations against the Taliban hideouts.
He said that there is dire need to enhance security at the Pak-Afghan border, so that Pakistan can concentrate on its work.

  1. That goes to prove our wrong for America.The wiser always said for last nine years that before leaving Afghanistan,USA,UK,NATO will make Pakistan another reson to stay in the region-Afghanistan with toadies those who helped them in past Musharraf and Zardari,ppp,MQM,ANP,MLQ.It was to happen.
