South Asia Partnership (SAP)’s campaign titled “We Can End All Violence Against Women” has completed its six years in 2011. An SAP representative said the campaign has successfully managed to sensitise about 423,000 “Change Makers” (both men and women) across 41 districts of Pakistan who pledged not to commit violence, rather initiate a positive shift in the paradigm by changing attitudes and enforcing women’s rights.
In commemoration, a programme would be held to acknowledge junior members of the campaign for their efforts to change attitudes. The conference is aimed at developing leadership among the children by altering mindsets against ill practices in the society. This programme will be held on June 3-4 at Holiday Inn Hotel.
