Government College University (GCU), Lahore Vice Chancellor (VC) Dr Ikramul Haq, Old Ravians Union (ORU) President Dr Samar Mubarakmand and faculty members on Thursday expressed deep sorrow and grief on hockey player Munir Dar’s death.
He was also an Old Ravian. Haq paid glowing tributes to Dar for his indispensable services for promotion of sports in the country and GCU. The ORU had also given the Lifetime Achievement Award to Dar last year for his services to the nation.
In their condolence message to the bereaved family, the GCU VC and faculty members prayed to God to bless his soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
