On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, the Punjab government has exempted chairlift and cable cars from entertainment tax.
People had to pay entertainment tax on tickets for Patriata chairlift and cable cars while last year in December, the government had increased tax by 46 Percent. The people, visiting Murree, have hailed the decision of the CM.
