Model Town Division Anti-Vehicle Lifting Staff (AVLS) arrested two men from the Rizwan alias Mani bike-lifting gang, including its ringleader, and impounded 17 motorbikes. An AVLS team, after collecting particulars of the Rizwan alias Mani bike-lifting gang, raided and arrested two of its members, including the ringleader.
The arrested men were identified as ringleader Rizwan alias Mani and Dilawar Masih. The police seized 17 motorcycles worth Rs 1.13 million from their possession. The criminals confessed to involvement in 28 cases of motorcycle lifting during the preliminary interrogation. Further investigation is in progress. Capital City Police Officer Ahmed Raza Tahir announced cash prizes and commendatory certificates for the police team.
