The federal government is likely to revise the basic pay scale (BPS) of its employees in the upcoming budget, sources told Pakistan Today on Tuesday. According to details, the government has finalised the revised BPS 1 to BPS 21 for its employees and it is likely to be reflected in the upcoming federal budget.
Sources revealed that there will be a 10 percent raise but the government has also incorporated other allowances into the BPS to propose a considerable raise in the figures. They said the federal government was also considering announcing a lump sum package for grade 22 officers, and hence it had not been included in the revised list.
