Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) men were killed in a clash with Awami National Party (ANP) activists over land dispute in Sachal Goth in the wee hours of Sunday. Following a verbal spar, activists of both parties attacked each other with weapons. In the crossfire, two JSQM activists – identified as Sultan Magsi and Rahat Abro – were shot dead. Sachal SHO Agha Shamshad said that following the clash, shops in the area remained throughout the day. However, no FIR was registered against anyone till the filing of this report. Separately, a young man was gunned down by two assailants on a motorcycle in Liaquatabad C Area. Super Market SHO Inspector Shafique Tanoli identified the 24-year-old victim as Liaquat. He said that victim was a resident of Haji Mureed Goth, Old Golimar. No case was registered till this report was filed.
