Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Zubair Motiwala said on Sunday that he has urged the management of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) to provide uninterrupted electricity to the people of Karachi. “Power load shedding has caused a severe loss to the industry and the KESC should take all possible measures to address the grievances of industrialists and the general masses as well,” he told a delegation of industrialists that came to meet him at his office.
“The KESC management and CBA Union have differences over certain issues, but the consumers should not suffer,” he added. The adviser said that Karachi is the hub of financial activities and if it is not provided with uninterrupted power supply, it would cause loss worth millions of rupees every hour.
“The present democratic government wants to provide relief to people at any cost,” he added. On the occasion, the delegation of industrialists informed the adviser about their problems.
