The law enforcement agencies have arrested the former Navy Commando Kamran Malik along with his brother suspected of involvement in PNS Mehran airbase episode on Monday.
He was alleged to have been involved in providing maps and sensitive information to the terrorists.
Former Naval Commando Kamran Malik was arrested at Guro Mangut Road.
Kamran Malik was court marshaled and dismissed from the Navy due to his suspicious activities ten years ago.
Meanwhile, the agencies have also questioning to the naval officials who are on long leave due to some reasons.
Why not court martial Naval Chief and base commander for repeated negligence especially to keep three 'Orions' together to have been made easy target for terrorists.Where is military intelligence of each branch of defense forces and are they competent enough to be in their positions?Certainly,ISI was embroiled by Zardari-Galani in too much of politics of Karachi target killings,bathakhori,blackmailing politics of MQM and busy saving their government .Nevertheless,The President the Supreme Commander and ISI incharge Prime minister should had realized their instruction which could be disastrous to our entire security appratus and lapses as 'Abbottabad,Mehran base and other etc..The important question is ;are things all over under control or negligence overriding our defense appratus>
Where is the Defense Minister?. Do we have one?. In the last 3 years everything under the Ministry of Defense has gone bust. There have been a series of security lapses starting from the attack on GHQ and to the latest embarrassment ie PNS Mehran. PIA which is under the ministry has gone to the dogs and so has CAA.
It seems that only the corrupt members of Gillani cabinet are beneficiaries, and Ahmed Muktar takes the cake for being frontman of both AZ and Gill. Pakistan has suffered a lot and so has the reputation of our armed forces.
