Crime Investigation Department of the Sindh police said it arrested six men suspected to be associated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Saturday. According to a CID official, the suspects were arrested in Baldia and Manghopir. The six men were identified as Ali Shah, Mumtaz Ahmed Mehsud, Haji Saeed Mehsud, Abdul Khalid Tookhi, Gul Zaman Afghani and Mohammed Saleem Afghani. The CID claimed that it recovered six TT pistols and large quantity of ammunition from the six men’s possession. “The six men are involved in various terrorist activities, kidnappings for ransom and robberies in various parts of the city,” the CID official said.
