The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) has expressed solidarity with the district judiciary clamouring for security in sessions courts. In a joint meeting of the district judiciary and LBA, it has been decided that no judge shall continue court work in existing poor security conditions. The meeting demanded authorities deploy Elite Force in the sessions court premises for the security of judges, lawyers and litigants. They demanded that the walls along the sessions courts be fenced with barbed wires. After the double murder in the courtroom, the judges stopped court work and expressed anger over the security lapse in the sessions court.
