Pakistan rugby team’s camp training commenced here Saturday at the Lahore Rugby Ground under the supervision of New Zealand coach Mike Pirrit.
As many as 30 shortlisted players from all over Pakistan reported at the camp and took part in various field and physical activities during the training session under the guidance of specialist Kiwi coach.
The camp is being organised for the preparation of upcoming HSBC Asian 5 nations Division III Rugby Tournament which is being hosted in Jakarta in which Indonesia, Guam and China are the other teams taking part in addition to Pakistan.
Pakistan national team coach Rizwan Malik is also working with Mike and will also be travelling to Indonesia with the team. The Pakistan team would leave on June 16 for Indonesia.
