Education system

Unfortunately, we have not yet decided the right direction of our education system: either it would be Urdu medium or English medium which creates the dual education system in our country.

One is for the rich and the other for the middle class and the poor. Rich people can spend a lot of money on education but the poor are busy only in their survival.

Secondly, advanced countries spend a huge part of their budget on education and education is their first priority because they know that only by education they can develop in the world whereas if we talk about our own country education is our last priority in budget and we spend a very small amount on our education. This is why we are still an under-developed country. Our syllabus is as old as it is. What we are studying is what our parents have also studied some 25 years back.

Thirdly, the students don’t respect the teachers. Teachers are not well paid in our country. Our government should look into this issue and provide good education to the people so that Pakistan can be one of the developed countries.
