The district administration continued its operation against encroachers on the 71st consecutive day on Thursday and cleared more than 35 kilometers area in all nine towns from encroachments.
The town administrations, following DCO’s directions, participated in the operation and demolished several illegally constructed shops. According to the city administration sources, anti-encroachment teams seized six truckloads of different materials. The DCO has directed the town administrations to continuously monitor areas where encroachments had been removed so that the encroachers could not re-construct illegal structures.
