The central leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former law minister Babar Awan said on Thursday that the PPP led-coalition government will complete its tenure and general elections would be held in 2013.
He expressed these views after offering his condolence on the death of President People’s Student Federation (PSF) Ayaz Khan Pappu’s mother. Advisor to the prime minister, Farooq Awan was also present on the occasion. Babar Awan said the popularity of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was increasing with each passing day and the party would win the next election. He called upon Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to start mature politics, adding that billions of rupees were being wasted on the so-called ‘Sasta Tandoor’ project. He also critizied ‘Aashiyana’ scheme and said property dealers were involved in this project.
