The suicide attack near administration offices in southern Hangu claimed lives of more than 28 people, including three policemen and injured more than 50 people.
Security personnel are particularly being targeted by terrorists. The apparent aim of this attack was also to demoralize government officials and the police. This surely is a serious time for reminiscence, because all this time we have been doing things irregularly. We don’t have a strategy that could define our course of action against terrorism. Now, it has become a necessity. Devising an anti-terrorism strategy will provide a plan of action to all the security agencies.
Everyday an attack is launched on security personnel, which if not stopped could seriously affect their motivation. Let’s hope that in the coming days, a serious dialogue process between all the important stakeholders result in devising a strategy that helps in bringing down the current wave of terrorism.
