The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council approved 53 projects worth Rs 478 billion on Thursday, among them a large number of inessential projects for Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s constituency even though the government is cash-strapped.
For Gilani’s constituency, the meeting submissively approved the construction of a northern bypass from Qasim Bela to Shershah Road, Multan bypass including a grade-separated elevated bridge over a railway line, a northern bypass from Bosan Road to Qasim Bela, Multan, including an approach road from northern bypass to Multan Airport via Jameelabad Chowk, projects which could have been delayed for some time.
The unpopular,third class leaders resort to such extravagant spending on themselves,their areas.Look AT his million of dollars wardrobe from which money,it came?What about the billions of rupees he has already spent on his home constituency.What is the result?where the money has gone -must be investigated by LHC .This again hiundred s of billions will be go to corruption and no result achieved.The project are also pre election rigging.These must be halted by Electoion Commission as well .Benazir Income support fund,waseela huk etcetc in PPP leaders name and instead be named after Quaid Azam or Fatima Jinnah as the money belonged to national exchequer of starving poor and not Benzir or of Zardari.Let Nawaz Sharif realize it as one gentleman very often highlights it..It is pre election rigging since first day his 'munshi'Ishaq Dar condescended it to PPP to win their accolades.
