Youth commits suicide over rift with parents

A 21-year-old youth committed suicide at Chak Sajjada near Hafizabad over his parents’ refusal to shift from the village to the city. Reportedly, Naseer Ahmad son of Ghulam Shabbir wanted his parents to shift to the city, but his parents did not agree to it.

On the day of the incident, he quarreled with his parents and shot himself. As a result, he was seriously injured and rushed to hospital where he succumbed to the injuries.

COP INJURED AS ROOF CAVES IN: A police constable was injured critically when the roof of the dilapidated city police station building caved in. Reportedly, Constable Saif Ullah was standing on the rooftop of the police station. Suddenly, the roof of the building collapsed. As a result, Saif Ullah was injured and shifted to the district headquarters hospital. The doctors of the DHQ hospital referred him to Lahore in critical condition.
Ironically, the higher police officers were well aware of the dangerous building, but no action was taken by them, which is equal to their criminal negligence.

STUDENTS FAINT AFTER EATING INTOXICATED TOFFEES: At least nine students of Government Elementary School, Sandhwan Tarar, fainted after eating intoxicated toffees.
Reportedly, nine students ate toffees from a shop of the village and went to their school where they went unconscious.  Rescue 1122 shifted the students to hospital. All the students were stated to be out of danger.
