At least four security officials sustained injuries in a landmine explosion while ten militants were killed in a clash in Orakzai Agency on Wednesday. According to details, the security forces targeted the militants’ hideouts in Khanzai Chamber and Tora. Ten miscreants were killed in the action while their vehicles had also been destroyed.
Meanwhile, the security forces personnel, heading towards Bahir Mela from Upper Orakzai tehsil headquarter Ghaljo, were injured when their vehicle hit a landmine at Yakh Kandao. Resultantly, four of them received injuries. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital Hangu for medical treatment. After the explosion the law enforcement agencies cordoned the area and started search operation. The security forces have been targeted previously through remote-controlled bombs and landmines in the same vicinity which killed more than 18 security officials, including a colonel.
