University of Central Punjab hosted its first ever European Band performance at its campus. A group of Norwegian, Norwegian-Indian and Pakistani musicians presented breath-taking fusion of jazz and classical genres of music.
The performers included Harvard Lund on clarinet, Trygve Seim on saxaphone, Asle Karsted as sound operator, Rohini Sahajpal on sitar and Jai Shankar on tabla, Akmal Qadri on flute and Chand and Suraj Khan on vocals. The audience swayed and clapped to the music. This performance at UCP was an effort put up by the Royal Norwegian Embassy and Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop.

  1. I would like to see the day when foreign bands performing in Pakistan wont be a big deal, but a normal thing. That'd be the day
