CIA Police City Division arrested ten criminals of two dacoit gangs involved in a number of cases of car/motorcycle snatching and seized Rs 160,000 as cash, one car, three motorcycles, 11 cell phones, four pistols and bullets from their possession.
The accused have confessed to 34 cases of motorcycle/car snatching and street crimes during preliminary interrogations. CIA SP constituted a special team under the supervision of DSP CIA Sadar Atif Hayat and DSP Iqbal Town Anwar Saeed and other police officials.
The police team collected the particulars of the gangs and arrested their ten members, who had committed crimes in South Cantt, Factory Area, Gulberg, Qilla Gujjar Singh and Iqbal Town.
