Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that the country’s political and military leadership should set out a comprehensive strategy in consultation with the public in order to deal with national challenges.
Speaking to media representatives on his return from London, Shahbaz Sharif said the PNS Mehran incident had challenged the country’s strengths.
He said a proper investigation of the incident should be conducted and security lapses should be rectified.
Condemning the incident, Shahbaz Sharif that before the world community begins to criticise Pakistan, we should reconsider our policies.
From the airport, Shahbaz Sharif went to the residence of Lt. Yasir Abbas who had died in the PNS Mehran attack, and offered his condolences to his parents.
