Under the administration of CDA, a weekly bazaar is established here in sector H, (opposite G-9/3 Sector) Islamabad for three days ie, Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. These weekly bazaars facilitate hundreds of thousands of people and nearly all kinds of household commodities are being offered on economical rates. I visited it yesterday and observed some areas of improvements. First of all it is urgently required to install an ATM in the premises of the bazaar. It would be more convenient for the customers of these bazaars to have an ATM here.
It has also been observed that in this sizzling heat no safe or filtered water is available for the visitors/customers. They have to purchase water or cold drinks to quench their thirst in this hot weather. Safe water plant is also the need of these bazaars. This beneficial weekly bazaar is running without electricity since its establishment. Stalls are without electricity and in hot season this bazaar turns into a hot and suffocated area hence not suitable for shopping. CDA should take immediate and serious steps to provide all these facilities to the visitors/customers and the stall owners as well.
