A dust storm hit the city on Wednesday. According to the Met Office, dust-thunderstorm rain is expected in scattered areas of Punjab, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibi, Sukkar, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Thursday (today).
Weather remained hot and dry in the country on Wednesday, however isolated rain, dust and thunderstorm occurred in Malakand, DI Khan, Zhob, Multan, Bahawalpur and Kashmir. 43 degrees Celsius was the maximum recorded temperature in Lahore, whereas maximum temperature observed in the country was 46 degrees Celsius at Nawab Shah on Wednesday.
