BJP wants nuclear-free Pakistan

The rightwing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday asked the world to take action to denuclearise Pakistan, days after a terror strike at a fortified military base in Karachi, reported the NDTV. “All this establishes Pakistan’s vulnerability as far as nuclear weapons are concerned. It is a matter of concern… how Pakistan is going to protect itself?” BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy remarked.
“It is time imminent action is taken to denuclearise Pakistan. There should be a world call to denuclearise Pakistan,” the NDTV quoted Rudy as saying while talking to reporters in New Delhi. He went on to say that there was ‘jihadisation’ of Pakistan’s army which was dangerous for the whole world.
“There is full-fledged jihadisation of Pakistan’s army, which is not only a matter of concern for India and Southeast Asia but for the world.” According to Rudy, there was an urgent need to sanitise Pakistan for world peace.
