Two people were shot dead by a security guard over minor issue here on Tuesday.
According to police, the deceased identified as Dilshad Ahmed, asked security guard Atiq-ur-Rehman not to smoke in public area.
The guard exchanged harsh words with the deceased over the issue and opened fire.
As a result, Ahmed died on the spot while a passer-by was injured.
After the incident, the injured man was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Police arrested the security guard and started investigation.
