Colonel General Alexander Postnikov, Commander-in-Chief Russian Ground Forces, called on General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), at Joint Staff Headquarters at Chaklala on Monday. “He remained with CJCSC for some time and discussed matters of professional interest and evolving geo-strategic situation of the region,” said an ISPR statement. It said Postnikov also appreciated the role of Pakistani armed forces in fighting the menace of terrorism in the country.
