Rangers’ personnel Khalil Ahmed and Muhammad Salim Taib of Pak Navy, who embraced martyrdom in Taliban’s siege of PNS Mehran naval base on Monday, were laid to rest.
Funeral of Ahmed was offered at Thetarwali village of Narowal. Hundreds of people attended the funeral. He was later buried at his native graveyard.
Chanab Rangers paid salute to the martyr. He is survived by his widow and six children.
On the other hand, a large number of people attended the funeral of Pak Navy jawan Salim Taib in Kabirwala.
No important political personality attended the funeral.
