Hakim Zardari’s death largely condoled

Ministers, legislators and people from different walks of life on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Hakim Ali Zardari, father of President Asif Ali Zardari and said Pakistan has lost a seasoned politician.
Talking to media persons outside the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Asim Hussain said late Hakim Ali Zardari was not only the kind of man people wanted to be, he was the kind of man people would be proud to be.
Minister for Ports and Shipping, Babar Ghauri expressed his deepest sympathies with President Zardari during time of loss and said services of Hakim Zardari for politics would long be remembered.
Advisor to Prime Minister, Qasim Shah said his thoughts and prayers are with President Zardari and for his family on this heartbreaking time.
“There’s nothing I can say that will ease pain but I just wanted to say that Hakim Ali Zardari was a great politician who would long be remembered,” he added.
Advisor to Prime Minister, Mustafa Khokhar, extending deep and heartfelt sympathies with the President, said he feels so sorry over the irreparable loss.
Former Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Sherry Rehman, Former Minister of State, Ayatullah Durrani, Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Dr Mehreen Raza Bhutto, Secretary Health, Nargis Sethi, Chairman, Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal, Zamurd Khan, Managing Director,Associated Press of Pakistan, Muhammad Riaz and Central Executive Committee Member of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Qazi Sultan Mahmood also visited the hospital and condoled the death of Hakim Ali Zardari.
They prayed to Allah Almighty to grant courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
Hakim Ali Zardari breathed his last after protracted illness on uesday. He was 81.
He breathed his last at PIMS where he was getting treatment. He was put on a ventilator since mid March. Born in 1930, late Hakim Ali Zardari played an active role in the politics and served in various capacities. He served as federal minister twice.
