Amid a curfew like situation, sectarian clashes among rival tribesmen in Kurram Agency continued on fourth consecutive day on Monday leaving at least eight more people dead. The death toll has now risen to 16 while more than 26 are wounded. Those killed in the fresh violence belonged to both Shia and Sunni tribes. The latest sectarian strife erupted late Friday afternoon between Balashkhel and Khawar Keley villagers and later spread to other surrounding areas Despite the curfew, armed tribesmen continued the exchange fire on Sunday night and Monday killing at least eight people. The dwellers of Sada town said their houses were hit with mortar shells. Omar Khan, a resident, informed that his 20-year-old son Mohammad Rafi was killed and seven others of his family were injured. Dr Peyao Badshah said that his son Junaid Khan along with their guest from Peshawar was killed in a similar attack.
