Thousands gathered in Karachi on the second day of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s protest sit-in against US drone strikes as party chief Imran Khan said on Sunday that sit-ins would be held in various cities across the country to stop the supply line of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) forces in Afghanistan until drone attacks were stopped.
Addressing the protesters at Netty Jetty Bridge, Khan said the war against terrorism was not Pakistan’s war, but America’s. “This war has killed thousands of innocent Pakistanis, women and children,” Khan said. He said a large number of innocent tribesmen had been killed in drone attacks but the government had no courage to stand up to the US. “The time has come for the people to come out onto the streets for the removal of this government,” he added.
“These attacks are against Pakistan’s interests. I ask the government to stop NATO supplies via Pakistan, but I am sure they can’t, because these shameless rulers are getting dollars,” he said.

  1. Imran should fathom that till such time Zardari keeps his coalition cartel of PPP-MQM,ANP.MLQ no change in Pakistabn can come about. All of them are liars, cheats, corrupt ,anti Kalabagh, pro oil commissions of billions of dollars, slaves to Imf,uk,usa, drones. They would as ever decieve people by giving one statement in parliament, another in public to their NRO masters in USA.The only solution is judicial removal of government, neutra government, independent election commission( OF HONEST AND EFFICIENT MEN) and ffree and fair elections and disqulifying, corrrupt, target killers, bathakhors, blackmailers .
