Life without money

Have you ever wondered what life would be like without money? Where would society be?

How would we live? If there is no money, no one would work, because there is no incentive, unless you truly love what you do.

Who here truly loves what they do and cannot live without their job? Crime rates would drop, because criminals would have no need to rob or murder someone anymore since money is not in the picture.

Illegal drugs would simply disappear since there is no incentive also. There would be no stock market, since it is completely built on money. No more phone solicitors or junk mail. Without money, all precious metals like gold and silver would be worthless.

Doesn’t this world sound good? Well, here’s the downside. Without money, the whole economy will just collapse, and we will be living in complete anarchy. There would be no organization or order, or even major advancements in any category. Say goodbye to your favourite television shows or radio stations, because they have no need to be on the air anymore.

We would pretty much be living in a world with no technology whatsoever, back to the way our ancestors had lived long, long ago. This would not be a very pleasant life. So, money has its pros and cons, but overall, it benefits the economy. Instead of killing each other for money, we would simply be killing each other for food.

The fact of the matter is that money has always existed, its called value. What a piece of paper now means to us, may have been a bushel of wheat to our ancestors back then.
