Hearing of Taseer’s murder adjourned till 28 May

Proceedings regarding the killing of former Governor Punjab, Sulman Taseer could not be held due to absence of Special Judge of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Raja Ikhlaq Hussain.
The next date for hearing of the case has been fixed 28 May on which the court would record the statements of prosecution witnesses.
It is pertinent to mention here the ex Governor Punjab Salman Taseer was killed, when he was coming out from a restaurant in Islamabad, by his own security guard and employee of Elite force Punjab police, Mumtaz Qadri during first week of the current calendar year. Later the assassin was arrested by Islamabad police and presented before Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi.
