Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Mubeen Ahmed on Friday awarded traffic warden Zulifqar a commendatory certificate and Rs 5,000 for rescuing an injured citizen and returning his possessions including Rs 250,000 and a mobile phone. According to details, Abdul Kareem got unconscious after a road accident in Kotlakhpat. Zulifqar, who was on duty, rushed Kareem to a nearby hospital, informed his relatives and also handed over a bag carrying Rs 250,000 and a mobile phone to Kareem’s brother.
