Amar Cables beat SPM Stags by two wickets in the Amar Cables Cricket Tournament here on Friday. After winning the toss, Amar Cables asked SPM Stags to bat first. SPM Stags scored 162 for the loss of nine wickets. Kamran Khan (45) was the top scorer for SPM Stags, while Amar Cables’ Dastageer Butt grabbed three wickets for 31 runs.
In reply, Amar Cables chased the target in 19.3 overs after losing eight wickets. Zahid Umer (50) was the prominent batsman for Amar Cables. SPM Stags’ Iftikhar Ahmed took three wickets for 31 runs. Zahid Umer was declared man of the match for his brilliant batting performance. The final of the Amar Cables Cricket Tournament will be played on Sunday between Amar Cables and Chaudhry Sports at Ali Garh Cricket ground, Model Town.
