Additional District and Sessions Judge Naveed Ahmed on Friday granted pre-arrest interim bail to eight-year-old Munib until May 26. A case has been registered against Munib and two others at the Ichchra Police Station on complaint of the assistant town officer for creating hurdles during the anti-encroachment operation.
According to details, Munib’s father, who ran a shop in Ichchra Bazaar, had fallout with staff of the assistant town officer during the anti-encroachment operation, on which a case was registered against Munib, his father and another man. The court on Friday, hearing Munib’s application, granted him pre-arrest interim bail against surety bonds of Rs 50,000.
