District Health Officer Dr Nawazish Ali Goraya sent a team of doctors after a news item was broadcasted on television channels that a woman affected by rabies in Kamalia had been detained in a room. The team vaccinated woman’s husband, children and other close relatives and directed the family to shift the woman to Kamalia Tehsel Headquatrter Hospital as early as possible.
MOTORCYCLIST CRUSHED TO DEATH: A speedy bus crushed a motorcyclist to death near Pirmahal. Reportedly, the deceased Imran Sargana, a resident of Arrouti, was on his way to Pirmahal on Pirmahal-Multan Road when the bus coming from the opposite side ran over his bike, killing him instantly.
