The high-ups of Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) and Indian Blind Cricket Council (IBCC) have decided that the bilateral series will be played in Pakistan in November.

Shah further divulged that the WBCC had also decided to stage madien T20 Blind Cricket World Cup from December 3 to 10 next year in Bangalore, India in 2012. “The decision was taken in the General Council of the WBCC that was held in Dubai on May 14 and 15,” he maintained.
He said that PBCC wanted to bring the both nations India and Pakistan close. “I hope the political situation in both the countries does not affect the cricket series. All the matters have been settled with the Indian officials,” he said. He said that Pakistan had strong team and had defeated India in past. “Our boys produced good results in the 2006 World Cup against India. We also outplayed England, South Africa and Nepal in the bilateral ties,” he hoped.
“The matches will be played at Lahore, Faisalabad and Islamabad. We will provide full security to our guests in all the cities. However, the other countries including South Africa are willing to visit Pakistan for international competitions but their governments are not permitting them to tour Pakistan,” he opted.
Head of the PBCC said out that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani had invited the blind cricket team but owing the Osama incident the program had been canceled. “Now, I request the PM to give us time for the meeting. We need Rs.10 millions to host the Pakistan India cricket series and without government support it would be difficult for us to host the series,” he said.
