The Kasur citizens who are facing unscheduled power load shedding have demanded the government take cell phones back from WAPDA SDOs and XENs as they do not listen to public complaints. Nadeem, a shopkeeper, said that 16-hour power outages had paralysed the city life, besides badly affecting the business community. He also expressed his anger over unresponsive behaviour of the SDO and the XEN.
Sardar Sikandar, a student, said he had to prepare for exams, but he was facing serious troubles due to load shedding. He added that whenever he phoned to get his complaint registered, his call was not attended. He demanded a strict action against WAPDA officials for not listening to the complaints of people.
