The official plane carrying United States President Barack Obama aborted an initial landing on Wednesday because of poor weather before safely touching down in Connecticut, federal aviation officials said.
“The pilot attempted to land at 9.50 am but because of poor visibility, he decided to do a go-around and landed at 10.05 at Bradley International Airport, Connecticut,” Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Tammy Jones told AFP.
“There was no danger. It was a routine procedure conducted when a pilot determines there is insufficient visibility to land safely,” she said.
