Chaudhry Sports beat Lahore Whites by seven wickets in the Amar Cables cricket tournament here Wednesday.
After winning the toss, Chaudhry Sports asked Lahore Whites to bat first. Lahore Whites scored 144-6 in 20 overs. Rauf (45) and Nadeem Zafar (29) were the prominent batsmen for Lahore Whites, while Chaudhry Sports’ Naseer Ahmed took two wickets for 17.
Chaudhry Sports chased the target for the loss of three wickets. Najam ul Hasan (66) runs and Azizur Rehman (61) were the prominent batsmen for Chaudhry Sports. Najam was declared man of the match for his brilliant 66 runs. Later, chief guest Nawab Ashiq Qureshi distributed prizes among the winners. Chaudhry Sports have qualified for the final of the event with this win.
