PPP to pass resolution against LHC decision

Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Punjab will pass a resolution against the Lahore High Court (LHC) decision in dual office case today (Wednesday). The party sources said as part of the nation-wide protest campaign a meeting led by PPP Punjab chapter President Imtiaz Safdar Warraich had been scheduled at its provincial secretariat.
They said the meeting would not only express solidarity with PPP co-chairman and President Asif Ali Zardari by passing a resolution in favour of his political activities but also devise a plan for the “Zardari Khapey” rallies throughout the province. PPP criticises PML-N: PPP Lahore on Tuesday criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over its policy of victimizing federal government, intelligence agencies and Pak Army.
The party said the statements of PML-N leaders were against national interest and added that PML-N leaders were busy in political point scoring which was regrettable. PPP Lahore President and Federal Minister Samina Ghurki, Tahir Khalil , Akbar Khan, Faiza Malik and all zonal presidents were present at the occasion.
