Poverty is a factor in the spread of terrorism. Some basic reasons for this poverty are government’s inadequate policies, corruption, division of agriculture land, materialism, lack of education, large scale imports, law and order and fluctuating foreign investments. The policies of government are based on the suggestions of officials which do not have awareness about the problems of a common man. After implementation, the policies do not get effective results. After the failure of one policy, government does not consider the reasons for its failure and announces another policy.
Corruption is at peak; everyone is trying to earn money through unfair means. Law and order conditions are out of control and institutions have failed to provide justice. Division of agriculture land is another problem. After division, there is not sufficient enough land to support a family. Lack of education is also one of the major problems which create poverty. In Pakistan, bad law and order situation is one of the reasons of poverty. Social dishonesty and irresponsible behaviour of people are other causes as well.
