New Age Cables on Tuesday donated a modern ambulance to the Rescue 1122 in a ceremony at the Emergency Services Academy. Thanking New Age Cables, Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer said cooperation from the corporate sector in overcoming emergencies and disasters would provide a sense of satisfaction to the citizens.
He said only Rescue 1122 provided instant relief with latest ambulances equipped with life-saving apparatus and professionally trained staff. New Age Cables Managing Director Aamir Bukht said the corporate sector felt its social responsibility to help the emergency services meet its need for modern equipment.
He hoped that other organisations would also cooperate with Rescue 1122 and added that collectively a sense of safety could be created for the citizens.
