Friends, again?

What an end to the whole drama! Pakistan got nothing except more pressure and humiliation before the world where it has been forced to work with the US after that clandestine raid to kill Osama. It seems that our government has cowered before the US and greed to do what they want us to do. Our friendship with the US has never benefited us. We were left alone in the 1965 and 1971 wars, and the debacle of Afghan war still resonates in our collective conscious. It is high time we make it a point to redefine our priorities with the US, keeping in mind our very own specific needs based on national interests.
