At least three people were crushed to death when their speedy car hit the Peshawar-bound Quetta Express train at the Attawa Railway Crossing.
Reportedly, 30-year-old Muhammad Iqbal, 25-year-old Muhammad Abbas Shah and 50-year-old Talib Hussain were on their way to inquire after their relative the other day when their car came in front of a train coming from Quetta to Peshawar. The Rescue 1122 took the bodies out of the car after cutting the vehicle and shifted them to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital. The railway crossing has been without any barrier for decades and former Gujranwala District Council chairman Rehmat Ali Bagri is also one of the dozens of victims there.
