FMC International Squash main round begins

The main qualifying round of the FMC International Squash Pakistan Circuit–II started here at the Punjab Squash Complex courts on Monday.
Apart from a few foreign players all the participants are from Pakistan and right from day one of the competition some interesting matches were played. In the qualification round 16 players reported to Tariq F Rana, Honorary Secretary Punjab Squash Association, and spirited matches were played among Aqib Hanif and Mujahid Hussain, and between Aurangzeb Mehmund and Ali Bukhari. Both these matches went to an equal length of nearly an hour and both the winners came in the game after losing one game each and winning three of them.
The second round of qualifying matches will start at 12 noon today followed by the main round.
Meanwhile, the president of the PSA, Hayat Noon said in a press conference that his body would hunt talent and train players.
