Supreme Court rejected the report of Balochistan’s chief secretary as unsatisfactory during the law and order case hearing on Monday.
According to a private television channel, Chief Justice in his remarks called the report as incomplete.
The report said that 260 persons were killed, 511 were injured and 181 dead bodies found in the province during last three years.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry directed the Chief Secretary to function under the constitutional jurisdiction to maintain law and order in the province.
The chief secretary also directed to describe the steps taken for restoration of law and order in the province in the next hearing of the case.
The court adjourned the case till May 23rd.
